mimicplus — one recording, one contract

A recording you are allowed to use becomes a client.

mimicplus is the HAR to OpenAPI and API client generator. A later recording fails when a field is removed or renamed.

You are not buying a toy, a template, or a chat transcript. You are buying a one-time key. That key is checked in the private repo, then mimicplus runs on the HAR you upload and returns the client your recording already proved.

01 — What you are buying

The recording becomes the contract.

Pay once. A one-time key arrives by email. This page does not hold keys. The key is checked in the private repo, then the run is on the HAR you attach — an API you are allowed to call, secrets already removed.

The key

One payment. One key by email. It authorizes a single delivery, checked privately. It is not a subscription and it is not stored on this page.

The client

A typed Python client, OpenAPI, and tests built from the calls that actually returned — login, pagination, writes, and the reject path.

The gate

A later recording fails the build if a field is renamed or removed. The contract is the session, not a guess.

02 — Why you are buying it

Stop rewriting the client from memory.

03 — Paid key

Buy the key. Then this field is yours.

Step 01 — Pay

$199 + tax

Stripe takes the payment. The one-time key is issued from the private repo and sent to the receipt email. This page does not hold it.

Step 02 — Key

Key from the receipt

Paste the key from the receipt email. Do not put a raw API token in this field, and do not paste the key in a public issue.

This page does not store the key.

04 — Live run

Key in. mimicplus runs.

A customer pastes the key from the receipt. The same field accepts a master key. This is the execution from the delivery run, played back as it happened.

05 — What goes in, what comes out

You feed it a recording. It hands back a list and a way to call it again.

A child can follow this. You used a screen. The screen talked to another computer. The browser can save that talk as a file. That file is the only thing you feed mimicplus. It is called a HAR. It is a list of questions the screen asked and answers the other computer sent. Take the passwords and tokens out first. Use a recording you are allowed to make.

What comes out is four things. A written list of what that other computer actually sent. A copy of that list to hold against next time. A small program a coder can run to ask the same questions again. An alarm if next time a piece is missing or has a new name.

The alarm in the sample is simple. A page is gone. A price is gone. A price comes back in cents. An order total is gone. A grand total is added. $199 once. The next recording is another $199.
