What a bank is buying.
The other computer changed a file. Nobody sent a notice. The payment did not post, the card file did not match, or the claim came back. Someone on your side then rebuilds the client. That rebuild is the cost.
The input
The last approved spec, and a later recording of that same partner screen. A card file, a core extract, a payer, a carrier. Passwords and tokens are dropped. The recording itself is not stored.
The output
The field that moved. A failing check. An audit row with the old field, the new field, and who approved an exception. One approval covers one field. The others still fail.
The profit
The rebuild starts on the named field, before the old client ships. No savings figure is claimed. $499 a month. One private repo for that institution.
